Refund and Returns Policy
What to expect if you need to cancel or request a refund.
- INTRODUCTION
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of online and taught courses (“Courses” or “Services”) made via the Nubes Academy website (www.nubes.academy), operated by Oleksiy Pototskyy a/k/a Nubes Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This Refund Policy describes your rights and the procedure for requesting a refund for Courses purchased via our website. By purchasing any Course, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
- CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER SPANISH LAW
In accordance with Spanish law, you have the right to cancel your purchase and request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that:
You have not accessed, downloaded, or begun using the course content in the case of an online course.
You have not participated in any sessions or accessed any materials for taught courses (in-person courses).
Please note that this right does not apply if you have started to access or use the digital content before the 14-day cancellation period has ended, as stated under Article 103 of the Spanish General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of any course within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason.
- EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Under Spanish law and the GDPR, there are some exceptions where the right to cancel does not apply:
- If you have accessed or downloaded any part of the digital content or course materials.
- If the course involves attendance to live training sessions, workshops, or any other in-person service, and you have already participated in any session.
- If the digital content or service is sealed or customized to your specifications and has been unsealed (e.g., custom course materials, certificates, etc.).
- If the course or content is used as part of a free trial, and you cancel after using the trial period.
- PROCESS FOR REQUESTING A REFUND
If you meet the criteria for a refund as described above, you can request a refund by following these steps:
- Notify Us: Send an email to [email protected] within 14 days from your purchase date, indicating that you wish to cancel the purchase and request a refund.
- Provide Information: Include the order number, your full name, and the details of the course you are requesting a refund for.
Refund Processing: Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will process the refund within 14 calendar days from the date we receive your withdrawal request. The refund will be issued to the same payment method used for the original transaction. - Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that if you paid for any additional services or materials (such as physical textbooks, certificates, or other third-party fees), those may not be refundable.
- REFUND TIMELINES
Once your refund request has been approved and processed, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your payment account, depending on your payment provider or bank.
- LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund within the stated timeframe, please first check your bank account and contact your bank or credit card company, as there may be some processing delays.

- FINAL NOTES
Refund Requests for Course Packages: If you purchase a package of multiple courses and request a refund for one course, the refund will apply only to the course in question, and not to the entire package. If you have accessed or completed any part of the remaining courses, they will be excluded from the refund request.
Refunds for Special Events: For courses associated with special events (webinars, workshops), the refund policy may be subject to specific terms, which will be communicated clearly on the event page.
